the woman turns old(er)

Remember THIS?
Tomorrow is the anniversary of the hilarious day, and tomorrow is my sisters birthday.
 Dear Woman,
It’s so weird that I don’t see you every day anymore. We don’t share a room or have human development across the lifespan together anymore. We can’t track down the Joseph statue because it got hidden yet again or go walk into Ryan’s anymore.
Remember all the late night Seinfeld parties on the bunk bed? Remember the inflatable mattress? That one time you almost died giving plasma? Or how we used to go to Chili’s every week? Felipe? Sharing clothes? You helping me get over being awkward? The night I met that one boy and you were glowing because we ‘flowed’? Listing to Super Bass or Like A G6 with Alex. Ke$ha in my little red car. Mav twisty cones. Lifetime movies with Mindy. “Let’s pretend we are mammals”.
Woman. Thank you for coming to see me a few weeks ago. I miss seeing my very best friend. I look up to you so much. You are the definition of cool. You are bold, you a brave, and you are you no matter what. You do what you want and wear the greatest clothes that I could never dream of pulling off. I’m so excited that you are back at the U, having such a great year. I couldn’t be more proud of my big sister. I look up to you and always wonder if Holl would approve of that boy or outfit. If the answer I no, I move on.
I love you Holly Molly!
