My dearest Jamison,

The blinking curser taunts me. I’m taken back to that last day in The Annex when you asked me to sign your yearbook and I honestly didn’t want to. It’s not that I don’t love you, you know I love you to the stars and back, it’s not that I don’t have beautiful things to say, it’s that I don’t want to say goodbye. Because, like my hero Peter Pan says, “never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting” and it’s not possible for me to forget you. Megan and Jami are like peanut butter and jelly. You are the fruit to my loopy. So I’m not saying goodbye to you ever. I’ll say see you soon, because we can’t be apart for too long. I will die.  

I’m sorry that I’m not here for your birthday and we can’t go buy smokes and such, but I’ll be thinking of you and I’ll go for a run just for us. I hope your birthday is a celebration because you are definitely worth celebrating. Enjoy your present because I handpicked it for you after I came to see you at work, where you stole some sips of my Sonic drink. I hope you wear it and think of me. You’ll remember the laughs, the ‘oh look, it’s tweedle dumb and tweedle dumb-er’, the night swim, the laughs in the ‘stang, and I could go on and on. You’ve said that I’m corky and witty, but I wasn’t until I met you. I was finally able to be myself. You brought me out of my shell and I can never thank you enough for that. I still remember being so nervous to come to your house to do glitter toes and watch Seventeen Again. Just ask German about how excited I was the one day I ate lunch with you guys. I finally found my place. I think you are the coolest person ever. Classy and confident, full of conviction. You are the one with the crazy ideas that make life worth living. “It’s a big jump you’ll be taking pretty soon here. Here, life is going to change all at once it will seem but I know you’ll do fine. Be prepared to make all new friends. This life is about is constant change and improvement. If we don’t change our circumstances from time to time we stop growing so just jump in and loose yourself in the moment.” Klayton. He’s a deep man sometimes.

Never, ever forget that I’m here for you; rain or shine we are sisters for life. One day, you’re going to find a man who’ll ‘bring home the bacon’ and kiss you when he comes home with flowers hidden behind his back. He’ll cuddle with you and crash weddings on the weekends. He’s the man who is under the same moon as you that we talked about that one night in my car. The world is a better place just because you are in it. I’m a better person because I know you. Now, I have to end this letter or I know I’ll cry my eyes out. So, see you soon my love, see you soon.
